Who operates this service

Erudite Tutoring is operated by ERUDITE MATH AND SCIENCE EDUCATION LIMITED, registered in British Columbia, Canada. Our Privacy Officer handles privacy enquiries, requests and complaints. Email [email protected], preferably with the subject Privacy request.

Business phone: +1 778-863-7299.

Information we handle

  • Accounts and support: names where provided, email addresses, account details and messages sent to us.
  • Purchases: order references, amounts, currency, payment status, billing details and refund records. Payment details are processed through the checkout payment service. Do not email passwords or full card details.
  • Learning activity: course access, lesson progress and playback activity recorded by the learning platform. Instructor Q&A and public course comments are not included in this offer.
  • Technical information: IP addresses, device and browser information, access logs, cookies and related information used by the platform to deliver and secure the service.

How information is used

Information is used to maintain accounts, process purchases, provide course access, remember learning progress, answer support requests, resolve billing issues, protect the service and meet legal or accounting obligations. Collection, use and disclosure must be limited to appropriate purposes. Consent for unrelated marketing is separate from accepting purchase terms.

Service providers and transfers

Kajabi hosts the website and courses and handles account information, course activity and transactional messages. The checkout payment service processes payment and billing details. Gmail handles messages sent to our support inbox. Website and video delivery providers receive technical information when your browser requests assets or streams a lesson.

We use these services to deliver the course and handle account, support and purchase records. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers where needed, or where legally required or permitted to resolve disputes or protect rights. Providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where different laws and lawful access requirements may apply.

Cookies and communications

Kajabi and its media features use cookies or similar technologies for account sessions, checkout, security, preferences and service operation. Some platform features may involve usage measurement. We do not currently enable owner-added advertising tags. Kajabi has confirmed that RudderStack analytics has been disabled for this account; that does not mean every remaining platform technology has been disabled.

You can use your browser settings to limit or clear cookies. These choices apply to that browser and device; blocking or clearing session cookies may sign you out or interrupt checkout and lessons. For questions about platform cookies or withdrawing consent, email our Privacy Officer. We do not currently offer a separate cookie-preference panel on this site.

Kajabi publishes a Cookie Notice describing its technologies. Actual use on this site depends on the features and account settings in use.

Accepting purchase terms does not subscribe you to marketing. If you separately choose marketing messages, you can use their unsubscribe link or contact us to withdraw that choice. Necessary order, account and service messages are separate from marketing.

Retention and security

Account and learning information is kept as needed to provide access and handle related support. Purchase, refund and contract records may need to be kept longer for accounting, legal obligations or disputes. Support messages and privacy-request records are kept only while needed to resolve and document the matter or meet an applicable retention requirement.

Course expiry does not automatically delete an account or purchase records. When information is no longer needed and no legal or business retention reason remains, it must be securely deleted or de-identified. Provider backups and records held for their own legal obligations may follow different retention cycles.

We limit handling to the information needed for the task and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents by email.

Your privacy requests

Email our Privacy Officer, preferably from the account email, and describe the information or correction you want, or the consent or concern you want us to review. An account email helps locate records but is not, by itself, proof of identity. Tell us if you no longer control that email so we can arrange a proportionate verification method. Do not send passwords or identity documents unless a necessary, secure method has been agreed.

We review the request, confirm any necessary identity or representative authority, search the relevant records and explain the outcome. Access, correction, deletion and withdrawal requests are handled under applicable law; they are not automatically approved or rejected. If information must be withheld or retained, the response will explain the applicable reason and review options.

For access or correction requests governed by British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, the usual response period is 30 days as calculated under that Act, subject to legally permitted pauses or extensions. Where an extension or refusal applies, the response must include the notices required by law. Other applicable laws may provide different rights or deadlines.

Withdrawing consent needed to provide an account or lessons may affect continued access; we will explain the relevant consequences. Closing an account does not itself settle a refund request or remove statutory rights. You may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC or the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction.

Students and parents

These courses are intended for AP learners aged 13 and older. Minors should review the purchase and privacy information with a parent or guardian. Privacy consent must be meaningful for the learner's understanding and the information involved.

For ordinary enrollment, the student uses their own name and email for their account. A parent may help with payment. Login messages, purchase confirmation and the system receipt go to the student's checkout email; a separate parent copy is not automatic. Contact us before purchase if the purchaser or contract recipient needs to be different from the student.

Paying for a course does not automatically authorize access to a student's progress or other learning information. For a request made on someone else's behalf, we check the authority and scope before disclosing records.

We do not currently accept enrollment for learners under 13. Do not create an account for an under-13 learner or submit the child's personal information to request an exception. A parent or guardian can contact our Privacy Officer with a general enquiry without sending the child's details. If you believe a child has already provided personal information without the consent required by law, contact our Privacy Officer so we can review the situation and the steps required by applicable law.

Policy updates

This policy is effective from the date shown above. Material changes will be explained as required; a policy update alone does not supply consent for a new use of personal information. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
